Intercessors of
the Lamb, a mixed community of Hermits, are called to
discipleship by the Holy Spirit and formed in the Heart of Mary
to continue the Lamb of God's redemptive mission through His
powerful "burden-bearing" ministry of intercession. The Priests,
Brothers and Sisters are consecrated to God through the public
vows of chastity, poverty, obedience and zeal for the salvation
of souls. Bellwether, our contemplative formation center, located in Omaha, Nebraska, is dedicated to the contemplative formation of all Christians for the powerful ministry of intercession. Our goal is to develop and foster a deep interior life in the hearts of God's people so that they might become, within themselves, a "house of prayer" as God is within Himself. Because it is the life that prays, our own personal relationship with Jesus is the root and power of all effective intercession. Therefore, we go forth as contemplative intercessors into the heart of the Church to invite others to undertake with us this Life-giving mission for the salvation of souls. |
