Founded in 1981
by five Franciscan Sisters, this community is devoted to
bringing the Kingdom of God through Gospel living, through
teaching in all areas of Catholic education, through
evangelization, and through helping develop a deep prayer life
in all who come to their Prayer Place, a beautiful retreat
center near the central house.
Still a small group, the Sisters live a joyous common life, wear a simple habit, and are committed to genuine renewal of consecrated life according to Vatican II documents and subsequent directives of the Holy See, especially Vita Consecrata, John Paul II's apostolic exhortation. Women 25-45 years of age who feel called to a life of intimate union with God, dedicated to serving and spreading His Kingdom, are encouraged to write. |
