The Dominican Sisters of Divine Providence is a contemplative-active community. Their main purpose as religious is to be deeply immersed in God through a serious prayer life. The specific work of the community is the spreading of the Kingdom of God through the apostolate of teaching. Their apostolic work of teaching flows from, alternates with, and is sustained by their prayer life. In a joyful and relaxing atmosphere they work together, share their gifts, and recognize and appreciate each other's contributions and uniqueness.
