THE CONGREGATION OF THE SISTERS OF OUR LADY OF MERCY

Saint Faustina Kowalska was a perpetually professed member of our active-contemplative congregation. We cooperate with the infinite mercy of God by proclaiming the message of Divine Mercy to the men and women of our time and by imploring God’s mercy for the world through prayer and sacrifice. We faithfully seek to fulfill our mission in the Church, which Pope John Paul II confirmed when visiting our shrine in Cracow in 1997: “Choosing from among you Sister Faustina, Christ (…) has called you to a particular apostolate, that of his Mercy. (…) The people of today need your proclamation of mercy: they need your works of mercy and they need your prayer to obtain mercy.”

Our convent in Boston is a formation house for English-speaking candidates. We currently have 8 sisters in United States as well as religious youth in the initial stages of formation. The general motherhouse is located in Warsaw, Poland where we have numerous houses, including the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Cracow.  Our congregation is also represented in many other countries.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, good physical and mental health, and be between the ages of 18-35.

If you feel called to make the merciful Jesus known and loved, please contact us.
